From the 17th of July until the 31st of July I am recording my first USA session here in Chicago. The main (Dutch) musician is Alexander van der Linden (Vladimir, Tonik).

We are staying at a place called Co-Prospheric Sphere or Lumpen, basically it is a (experimental) cultural centre with exhibitions, theater shows, music shows etcetera.

Here is a list of a few musicians from Chicago we invited to come and join this session: Erica Dicker (violin), Luther Rochester (vibraphone and synths), Katinka Kleijn (cello), Mercedes (banjo and backing vocals).

The first three days of our trip we will be on the Pitchfork festival, relaxing and watching some cool bands. On Monday we will start with the actual IN A CABIN WITH recordings.

We will try to give you a day to day update including pictures and maybe even some movie(s).
